Mr.Ajith Naragala has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Development Lotteries Board.

Mr.Ajith Naragala assumed duties as the new Chairman of the Development Lotteries Board. Mr.Ajith Naragala, a former Director General of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, has also served for a long time as the Director General of Operations of the National Youth Services Council. He has also held various positions in several government institutions including the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Economic Development.

Mr.Ajith Naragala, who has also been the Head of Sales at the National Savings Bank, has also been the Head of Sales at the Metropolitan Group of Companies, a leading private company in the country. He is also the Managing Director of Luxury Caring Pvt.

Ajith Naragala is an External Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Kelaniya as well as an External Lecturer in Management at the University of the Visual and Performing Arts. He is currently the Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Athletics. Ajith Naragala, who has also been the CEO of Colombo Television, is an experienced manager in the local media industry.

He has a unique ability in the management of national and international special occasions. He has been a key operator on a number of special occasions, such as the Championship.

He has also represented Sri Lanka at various United Nations Conferences. Mr.Ajith Naragala holds a number of responsibilities in various fields and is a Post Graduate in Management from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
