The Development Lotteries Board has achieved its highest profit in history..!

• 13.4 billion in gifts to winners in 2023,
• The total contribution given to the government is Rs. 5.1 billion,
• The Mahapola Scholarship, Heart Patients, and Presidential Fund have been awarded an overall value of Rs. 3.6 billion.

In 2023, it made the largest contribution in Development Lotteries Board history. A press conference was held on April 2nd, 2024 at the Development Lottery Board Auditorium to inform the public about this.

Honorable Shehan Semasinghe, Minister of State for Finance at the Ministry of Financial Economic Stabilization and National Policy, Mr. W.A. Sarath Kumara, Secretary of the President's Fund, Mrs. Janet Jayawardena and Honorary Chairman/CEO of Development Lotteries Board, Mr. Ajith Gunaratne Naragala, along with General Manager of Development Lotteries Board, Mr. Anura Jayaratne, group representing the staff and many others from the media participated in the event.
