Development Lotteries Board
The Development Lotteries Board consistently creates numerous winners every day. The board will be presenting cheques to twenty new millionaires and ten new millionaires, including the Super Jackpot winners from its lotteries. Additionally, the board will also be awarding cheques and certificates to the dealers who sold the winning lottery tickets. On October 2, 2024, the Chairman and CEO of the Development Lotteries Board, Mr. Hemantha Swarnathilake, confidently presided over the award ceremony at the Development Lotteries Board Head Office Auditorium.
Among the development lotteries tickets, Shanida Super Jackpot is Rs.51,005,682.40, Lagna Wasana Super Jackpot is Rs.7,284,571.60 and Lagna Wasana Super Jackpot is Rs.3,000,000. Cheques were also awarded to one winner of another Supiri Dhana Sampatha winner of Rs.2,500,000/-. Also, cheques were presented to 13 winners of twenty lakhs and 14 winners of 10 lakhs and the total prize money distributed among all those winners was Rs.103,790,254/-.
A group of officials, including Mr. Anura Jayaratne, General Manager of the Development Lotteries Board, and Miss Vijitha Somaratne, Deputy General Manager (Finance), participated in this event.
DLB witnessed the moment on 24.01.2020, where the cheques were awarded to the winners at the auditorium, who won awards of more than million rupees each, out of the winners presented by DLB during previous two months.
