48 Lucky Winners Receive Prizes Worth Rs. 207 Million from Development Lotteries

The cheque presentation ceremony for 48 winners of Development Lotteries was held on June 2, 2026, under the patronage of the General Manager of the Development Lotteries Board, Anura Jayaratne, with the participation of the management team.

During the event, cheques were presented to the winner of the Shanida Super Jackpot worth Rs. 55,718,448/-, the winner of another Shanida Super Jackpot worth Rs. 52,783,981/-, the winner of the Lagna Wasanawa Super Jackpot worth Rs. 10,583,815/-, and the winner of the Kapruka Super Jackpot worth Rs. 10,000,000/-.

In addition, the winner of the Kapruka Bakmaha Wasi Special Lottery grand prize—a motor vehicle valued at Rs. 10.9 million—was officially awarded the vehicle.

Cheques were also presented to 18 winners of the Rs. 2 million prize category and 21 winners of the Rs. 1 million prize category.

Accordingly, a total prize value of Rs. 207,036,219/- was distributed among 48 winners across the island through the Development Lotteries.
